Do not force the connector.

5. Secure the Battery Box

Place or mount the battery box somewhere accessible underneath the basin.

Avoid positioning it where water may collect.

6. Test the Sensor Tap

Activate the sensor several times to confirm normal operation.

Solenoid Valve Installation

The solenoid valve controls water flow when it receives a signal from the sensor system.

Before Installation

Confirm that the replacement valve matches:

  • Voltage
  • Connector type
  • Water-flow direction
  • Pipe connection size
  • Existing sensor/control system

Installation Steps

1. Turn Off the Water

Never remove a solenoid valve while the water supply is active.

2. Disconnect the Power

Disconnect the battery or mains power supply.

3. Note the Water-Flow Direction

Check the flow-direction marking on the valve.

Installing the valve backwards may prevent correct operation.

4. Remove the Existing Valve

Carefully disconnect the plumbing connections.

Have a towel or container available for residual water.

5. Install the Replacement Valve

Fit the new valve in the correct flow direction.

Secure all plumbing connections.

6. Connect the Electrical Cable

Connect the solenoid cable to the corresponding control-box connection.

7. Restore the Water Supply

Slowly reopen the isolation valve and inspect the installation for leaks.

8. Restore Power and Test

Reconnect the power supply and test sensor operation.

Mixer Valve Installation

Mixer valves allow hot and cold water to be combined before reaching the sensor tap.

Typical Connection

Hot Water → Mixer Valve

Cold Water → Mixer Valve

Mixed Water → Sensor Tap / Solenoid System

Installation Guidance

Turn off both hot and cold water supplies before installation.

Connect the hot and cold supplies to their correct mixer-valve inlets.

Connect the mixed-water outlet to the appropriate tap or sensor-system inlet.

Restore the water supply slowly and check all connections for leakage.

Adjust the mixer until the desired outlet temperature is reached.

Important

Always verify the inlet markings before connecting hot and cold water.

Take appropriate precautions against excessively hot water, particularly in commercial, educational, healthcare or public environments.

Automatic Soap Dispenser Installation

Wall-Mounted Dispensers

1. Choose the Installation Position

Select a flat surface with sufficient clearance underneath the dispenser.

Position the unit where customers can comfortably place their hands beneath the sensor.

After Installation

Once installation is complete, perform these checks.

Water Connections

Check every water connection for leaks.

Inspect again after the system has been operating for several minutes.

Sensor Operation

Activate the sensor repeatedly and make sure:

  • Water starts correctly
  • Water stops correctly
  • Detection distance is consistent
  • The system does not activate unexpectedly

Power Connections

Make sure:

  • Battery polarity is correct
  • Connectors are fully inserted
  • Cables are not trapped or stretched
  • Electrical components are protected from water

Final Check

Run the system several times before leaving the installation unattended.

Troubleshooting After Installation

The Sensor Tap Does Not Activate

Check:

  • Water supply is open
  • Batteries are installed correctly
  • Batteries have sufficient charge
  • Power adapter is connected
  • Sensor cable is connected
  • Solenoid cable is connected
  • Sensor surface is clean

Water Runs Continuously

Check:

  • Nothing is positioned permanently in front of the sensor
  • Sensor surface is clean
  • Solenoid connections are correct
  • Valve is installed in the correct direction
  • Control-box connections are secure

Turn off the water supply if continuous flow cannot be stopped.

Sensor Works Intermittently

Check the batteries first.

Low battery power can cause inconsistent sensor behaviour.

Also inspect:

  • Loose connectors
  • Damaged cables
  • Dirty sensor surface
  • Incorrect sensor positioning

No Water Comes Out Even Though the Sensor Activates

Check:

  • Isolation valve is open
  • Water supply is available
  • Solenoid valve direction
  • Water inlet connections
  • Filters or aerators for blockages

The Tap Activates By Itself

Clean the infrared sensor and remove reflective or moving objects immediately in front of it.

Very reflective surfaces or objects positioned within the detection area can sometimes interfere with infrared sensor operation.
